Hornblower: App Design
Goal Following the launch of a brand refresh and new website, Hornblower needed an app that would allow customers to easily purchase tickets and manage their reservations.
Role I served as the lead writer and content strategist for the app design and launch, which included information architecture, wireframes, and all copy. Along with the app launch, we encouraged customers to download the app ahead of their cruise via a text notification, which I wrote copy for.
Results Customers are able to discover upcoming cruises, purchase tickets, and manage reservations in the apps. No paper tickets required, because we love those trees. The iOS app brings in $2,000 in revenue per day. The android app is now in development.
